Francesca Giorgia Paleari is an Associate Professor of Social Psychology in the Department of Human and Social Sciences at the University of Bergamo, where she teaches courses on social psychology and psychology of groups and interpersonal relationships. 

Her research primarily focus on couple and family relationships, with a particular interest in forgiveness processes (both interpersonal and self-forgiveness), as well as coping and resilience in challenging situations. She also studies group processes, including intergroup forgiveness and prejudice, and works on the development and validation of instruments for assessing family and group dynamics.
