Ariel Knafo-Noam has held the Leon & Clara Sznajderman Chair in Psychology at the Hebrew University since 2019. He served as Chair of the Department of Psychology between 2021-2024. He is interested in all potential influences on individual differences in social behavior and values. He investigates how values develop across different contexts, cultures, and families. Another line of research explores the reciprocal influences between parents and children, particularly how children's genetics affect their temperament and how parents respond to them.
